1. The service

Nomad Check is an Android app for Google Play. It provides stay-day calculations, visa and compliance information, and health and emergency information for people travelling between countries.

The current version is free to use.

The app provides information and calculations. It does not give legal or medical advice. A result, countdown, checklist, or status in the app is not an official decision about your permission to enter, stay, or work in a country, or a medical assessment of your health.

2. Information quality and verification

Visa, compliance, health, and emergency information have different levels of verification. We do not represent all information as verified, complete, or current.

Verification status as of {{CONTENT_VERIFICATION_DATE}}:

Information categoryCoverage and verification
Visa information{{VISA_VERIFICATION_BREAKDOWN}}
Compliance information{{COMPLIANCE_VERIFICATION_BREAKDOWN}}
Health information{{HEALTH_VERIFICATION_BREAKDOWN}}
Emergency information{{EMERGENCY_VERIFICATION_BREAKDOWN}}

What the verification levels mean and how the figures are counted: {{CONTENT_VERIFICATION_METHOD}}.

Information may be outdated or incomplete. A source link does not guarantee that every statement or calculation has been independently checked against that source. A favourable result does not guarantee entry, a visa, permission to work, or compliance with the rules that apply to you.

If a calculation uses a stay limit you entered, its result reflects that input. It does not verify that the limit is legally correct for you.

Health information is general information, not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. Emergency information is a reference, not a guarantee that a listed contact or service is current or available.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you enter, including dates, passport details, travel history, work circumstances, and any stay limit you supply. Correct inaccurate information when you become aware of it.

Before relying on a result for a travel or work decision, check the relevant official sources and requirements for your circumstances. The responsible authorities determine your actual permission to enter, stay, or work.

Keep your own records of travel dates, official permissions, and deadlines. Do not rely on the app or its reminders as your only record or warning.

For decisions about your health, obtain advice from a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact the relevant emergency services directly.

Use only accounts you are entitled to access. Protect access to your device, email, and Google account. Avoid adding unnecessary personal information about other people to notes.

4. Accounts and data

On a fresh online start, the app automatically creates an anonymous Supabase account when it finds no existing session or recorded identity and local storage can be read. This process does not wait for a button tap or consent.

After initial setup, saved profile and travel information is uploaded automatically, including before you link an email or Google account. "Guest" does not mean that your information stays only on your device.

You can link an email or Google account. If you link Google while your profile nickname is empty, the app saves your Google display name as your nickname and uploads it with your profile.

Signing out leaves your profile and travel data on the device. Someone else using that device can see retained information. Local content is not separated by account, and a later guest edit may upload retained information under a guest identity.

For a linked account, the deletion entry is Settings → Login and Security → Delete my account. The app sends a server deletion request before local cleanup. If that request fails, local cleanup does not start. The cleanup includes diagnostic copies of unreadable data, but complete removal on Android and the deployed server's deletion scope have not been verified.

Guests who have never linked an account cannot access that deletion entry. You can submit a request at getnomadcheck.com/delete; that page explains what we can and cannot identify.

A restoration failure screen can prevent access to account controls. After a successful account-deletion flow, the identity process restarts and may create a new anonymous account when connected.

5. Saving, synchronization, and availability

Saving on your device and synchronization with the server are separate operations. Different parts of one change are uploaded separately. A change can reach the server only in part.

Synchronization of future plans and stay history can remove server records that are missing from the device's collection. It is not a guarantee that all records from different devices will be combined. Using the same account on multiple devices may overwrite or remove records.

Signing in to an account that already has data replaces the guest information on that device with the account's data. This cannot be undone.

Local saving can fail without an on-screen warning. Unsaved changes may be lost when the app closes. Restoration failures can also pause editing. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, successful synchronization, or recovery of every record.

6. Limits on responsibility

We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of every result, or any immigration, travel, work, or health outcome.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information you enter or by a failure to check applicable official requirements, where those losses are not caused by our breach of duty.

These Terms do not exclude or limit responsibility for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or any responsibility that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. They do not remove mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. The information and synchronization limitations above do not excuse us from obligations that the law places on us.

7. Governing law and disputes

Dispute procedure and competent courts: {{DISPUTE_RESOLUTION_PROCESS_AND_FORUM}}.

Any governing-law or dispute provision remains subject to mandatory rights and protections that apply to you.
